Claude API Without a Credit Card: Alipay, WeChat Pay, USDT

Anthropic Console and the OpenAI Platform sell API credits by bank card, so without a card they accept you cannot top up there. A gateway that takes other payment methods and serves the same Anthropic- and OpenAI-format endpoints solves the payment side; your code and tools stay the same apart from the base URL and the key.

1. Create an account with your email address; sign-up uses a code sent by email.
2. In the dashboard, open Top Up and choose Alipay or WeChat Pay.
3. Enter an amount in yuan, at least ¥20. The form shows roughly how many dollars will be credited; the final figure uses the exchange rate at the moment you pay.
4. Pay on the Alipay or WeChat Pay page. You return to the dashboard, and the balance usually updates within a minute.

These payments are charged in CNY and converted to a USD balance at the current exchange rate (section 3 of the terms). There is no separate fee at checkout: conversion and processing costs are part of the rate.

1. In Top Up, choose Cryptocurrency and pick an amount, at least $10.
2. You are taken to a Cryptomus payment page. Choose the coin and the network there; the page shows the exact amount to send, processing fee included.
3. Send exactly that amount. Once the network confirms the transaction, the full amount you chose is added to your balance.

The processing fee is paid by you and shown on the payment page before you send anything; it is not taken out of your balance. Confirmations take longer when a network is busy. Larger crypto top-ups also come with a top-up bonus, shown on the top-up page before you pay.

Requests are not paid from the account balance directly but from the budget of an API key:

1. Open Keys, create a key and give it a budget from your balance (at least $2). You can add budget later or split the balance over several keys.
2. Copy the key and set the base URL: https://api.apivai.com for Claude Code and the Anthropic SDKs, https://api.apivai.com/v1 for OpenAI-format tools.
3. Check that it works:

Deleting a key returns its unused budget to your account balance.

For scale: on Claude Sonnet 4.6, one request with 20,000 input and 1,000 output tokens costs about $0.0315 as of 2026-10-13. Current prices for every model are on the pricing page.

For Alipay and WeChat Pay, refresh the dashboard after a minute or two. For crypto, wait for the network confirmations; the balance updates by itself. If an Alipay or WeChat Pay payment has not arrived after a few minutes, or a crypto payment within an hour, email support@apivai.com with the time and amount. A crypto payment of less than the amount shown is not credited automatically, so contact support in that case too.

Yes. The Invoices tab in the dashboard lists your paid top-ups. Tick the ones you need, fill in the invoice details once and send a single request; when the invoice is issued you can download it there, and it is also emailed to you. Alipay and WeChat Pay top-ups are listed at the yuan amount paid, crypto top-ups at the dollar amount. Each top-up can be on one invoice only.

The terms set no expiry date for the balance: it stays on your account until you spend it. Budget given to a key stays on that key, and deleting the key returns it to the balance.

Under section 3 of the terms, credits are non-refundable once consumed, and unused credits may be refunded at our discretion within 30 days of purchase.
